SIA Engineering Japan Corporation (SIAEJ) was established in 2017. We are a wholly owned line maintenance facility of SIA Engineering Company (SIAEC), based in Osaka (KIX), Tokyo (NRT), Nagoya (NGO), Hokkaido (CTS) and Fukuoka (FUK). Together with 25 other joint ventures (JV) and subsidiaries across 8 countries, we form the SIAEC group.
The SIAEC Group provides extensive maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of aircraft to more than 80 international airlines worldwide. The group also provides line maintenance services at 30 airports globally in 8 countries and holds certifications from 28 national aviation authorities including FAA, EASA and CAAS. With 70 years of experience in the airline engineering industry, SIAEC and its JVs contribute to about half of Singapore's aerospace industry output.
SIAEJ is part of SIAEC's Line Maintenance International (LMI) network. SIAEJ will provide line maintenance services at airports in Japan on receipt of approvals from relevant authorities. We offer a full suite of line maintenance services which include aircraft certification, defect rectification, technical ramp handling and cabin maintenance, amongst other services.
As SIAEJ continues to grow, the company plans to broaden its service offerings and gradually expand its presence to additional airports across Japan, strengthening our ability to support airlines with safe, reliable and efficient line maintenance operations.
With SIAEJ extensive experience in the aviation MRO industry, we understand the importance of minimal disruptions to flight schedules for our valued customers. Hence, our operations place a strong emphasis on quick response time, a dependable support network and high dispatch reliability.
Our team is highly skilled with a comprehensive background in line maintenance operations. We are able to undertake mandatory engineering requirements for airline operations into and within Japan.
