Southern Airports Aircraft Maintenance Services Co. Ltd (SAAM) provides technical and non-technical handling at Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat Airport, the largest and busiest airport in Vietnam. Additionally, SAAM provides defect rectification, AOG support, Non-Destructive Testing, cabin cleaning and aircraft polishing.
SAAM is SIAEC’s sixth overseas line maintenance joint venture and the first line maintenance joint venture in Vietnam. SAAM, which commenced operations in November 2010, has secured a strong base load of eleven airline customers by January 2011 - Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, United Airlines, All Nippon Airways, Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines, Philippine Airlines, Malaysian Airways, Cargolux, Cardig Air and Neptune Air.
