International Aerospace Tubes-Asia (IAT-Asia) specialises in the repair of aerospace tubes and manifolds for PW4000 engines. Having commenced operations in December 2002, IAT-Asia has approval from CAAS, FAA, EASA, CAAC and DCA for the repair of aircraft metal conduits. Its range of repair capabilities now include various modular tubes on the PW4000, JT8D, JT9D-7R4/7Q/E1, CFM56, Trent 700 & 800, V2500 A1/A5/D5 engine diffuser case, intermediate case, turbine exhaust case and airframe ducts from other OEMs, such as Boeing, Goodrich and Rolls-Royce.

IAT-Asia maintains a strong focus on improving its capabilities and other key processes through its Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) programme. Since 2007, CAS has been an ACE Gold site sustaining high standard of operations and financial output.

IAT-Asia is embarking on game changer initiatives to transform its business to a greater height by involving its full work force in the effort. Some of the obvious improvement – production cell re-structuring, automation of tube fixture set up, JIT in tube bending process, increasing tube repair capability and etc. Through the effort, there is a space saving as much as 7,000 square feet.
