Principal Activity:

International Aerospace Tubes-Asia (IAT-Asia) specialises in the repair of aerospace tubes and manifolds for PW4000 engines. Having commenced operations in December 2002, IAT-Asia has approval from CAAS, FAA, EASA, CAAC and DCA for the repair of aircraft metal conduits. Its range of repair capabilities now include various modular tubes on the PW4000, JT8D, JT9D-7R4/7Q/E1, CFM56, Trent 700 & 800, V2500 A1/A5/D5 engine diffuser case, intermediate case, turbine exhaust case and airframe ducts from other OEMs, such as Boeing, Goodrich and Rolls-Royce.

IAT-Asia maintains a strong focus on improving its capabilities and other key processes through its Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) programme. It has been awarded ACE Gold on 15 March 2007 under the Pratt & Whitney new ACE assessment criteria.

IAT-Asia has also received many other industrial awards and recognitions in the Financial, Quality and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) performance since operation. In addition to the numerous awards and recognition received over the years, IAT-Asia’s recent achievements include the following;

  • Silver award from Ministry of Manpower for WSH awarded on 2 October 2008
  • Recognition of over three years without a lost time injury awarded on 2 October 2008
  • Best Overall Quality for 2007 (GSP/GRS) awarded on January 2008
