Asian Surface Technologies (AST) repairs and overhauls fan blades for JT9D and PW4000 series engines, as well as provides plasma coating services for aerospace and industrial engineering products in the Asia-Pacific region.
AST uses cutting-edge technology, such as Praxair's proprietary D-gun processes for its coating services and holds approvals from the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, the Federal Aviation Administration in the US and the European Aviation Safety Agency in Europe.
Much emphasis has also been given to the health, safety and welfare of its employees. CAS received a Silver award from the Singapore Ministry of Manpower in its Annual Safety and Health Performance. For its company-wide health program efforts, CAS received a Gold Health Award from the Singapore Health Promotion Board. In addition, CAS received a Silver award at SMA-WSHi Innovation Presentation for its introduction of the Contractor Corner.
