Asian Compressor Technology Services (ACTS) specializes in the overhaul and repair of High Pressure Compressor (HPC) and Low Pressure Compressor (LPC) components for the PW4000, PW2000 / F117 and CF6 families of engines. Components that ACTS repairs include Stators, Variable Vane Inner Shrouds (VVIS), Outer Air Seals and Honeycomb shroud guides.

ACTS is certified as a UTC ACE Gold Site, the highest level achievable in UTC’s Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) operating system. It was first certified in December 2005 and successfully recertified in March 2007 after a rigorous audit of its business results and use of the ACE operating system. As of January 2009, the company has successfully completed 61 consecutive months without a Lost Time or Recordable injury and 53 consecutive months of 99% or better on-time delivery while consistently meeting or exceeding Quality and Financial objectives set by its Board. ACTS has one of the highest employee satisfaction scores in all of Pratt & Whitney in 2006, 2007 and 2008 and one of the highest customer satisfaction scores amongst Pratt & Whitney repair units in 2007 and 2008.

ACTS differentiates itself in the marketplace through its consistent delivery performance, prompt customer service, dependable quality and overall ease of doing business. While its customer base is currently concentrated in Asia and North America, ACTS has recently started winning work from customers in Europe.

ACTS received ISO 9002 certification in 1998 and became an ISO14000 certified shop at the end of 2003. Air Agency Certifications acquired include authorizations from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), Civil Aeronautics Administration, Taiwan (CAA), General Administration of Civil Aviation of China (CAAC), Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and Department of Civil Aviation Malaysia (DCA Malaysia).

In 2007, ACTS received the Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) and the Taiwan Training Quality System (TTQS) awards from the Taiwan Government Council of Labor Affairs and the Energy Conservation award from the Taiwan Government Energy Bureau. In 2008, a team from ACTS won the prestigious Pratt & Whitney Leadership Award and the company received two awards from the Government of Taiwan for innovations in human resource practices.

ACTS was established in 1995 and employs more than 110 people.
